While you press and hold down the 2 and 9 keys, turn on the scanner. Programming Channels 1. Press MANUAL. Enter the channel number you want to program. 2. Press PROG. PGL appears on the display to indicate the scanner is in the programming mode. 3. Enter a frequency. 4. Press ENTER to store the frequency. 5. Repeat Steps 1-4 to program more channels.
